What does the Partnership do?

The Partnership aspires to act as a "facilitator", providing various forums through which like-minded people can meet and work together to develop themes and projects that benefit the Nidderdale area. Nidderdale Plus does not generally run projects itself, but supports relevant projects put forward by organisations, individuals or consortia. Where funding is required to help such schemes come to life, the Partnership's officers can often provide a "sign-post" to the many Agencies and Charities offering funds, as well as advice on how best to structure the application.

As the recognised Community Partnership, Nidderdale Plus works closely with Harrogate Borough Council, North Yorkshire County Council, Yorkshire Forward and Government Office for Yorks and Humber to endorse suitable schemes that are applicable for the major funding available under Objective 2 Priorities 3 & 4.
